TANK 330 is developed based on the TANK 300 Border Limited Edition and is also the first “user co created” model under the TANK brand. The official account of TANK SUV recently released the official images of the TANK 330. The car will be officially launched on March 16th and will be equipped with a 3.0T V6 twin-turbocharged engine. Its target price is above 350,000 RMB (~US48,700).
There is no doubt that the TANK 330 will have a more aggressive appearance. Some of its components are consistent with the TANK 300 Frontier Limited Edition, such as the front bumper. Due to the more powerful power system, the car has a new engine hood with a more domineering raised shape.
In terms of body size, the car has a length, width and height of 4772/1970/1960 (1971) mm, and a wheelbase of 2750 mm. The tire specifications are 265/70 R18. It has raised wheel eyebrows, roof racks, full-size external spare tires, etc., and the rear of the car also has a red V6 logo.
In terms of power, TANK 330 is equipped with a 3.0T V6 twin-turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 360 horsepower (265 kilowatts) and an estimated maximum torque of 500 Nm. The transmission system is matched with a 9AT gearbox. According to official news, the Tank 330 will adopt an intelligent on-demand four-wheel drive system with MLOCK mechanical locking function, which can realize the switching of four modes: two-wheel drive (2H, economy mode can lock the rear drive), intelligent four-wheel drive (AWD), high-speed four-wheel drive (4H), and low-speed four-wheel drive (4L). The 4L mode can amplify the torque by 2.64 times, and the traction mass is 2500kg.
