Guangzhou, China – April 25, 2024 – Toyota took the wraps off its brand new electric SUV, the bZ3X, at the ongoing 2024 Beijing Auto Show. This compact SUV, developed specifically for the Chinese market, is expected to hit dealerships within a year under the GAC Toyota brand.

The bZ3X embodies Toyota’s signature design language with its C-shaped headlights seamlessly integrated across the front fascia. The minimalist front bumper complements the overall clean and modern aesthetic. The side profile bears a resemblance to the Toyota C-HR, but with a sleeker silhouette and a more pronounced character line. To further enhance its visual appeal, the bZ3X boasts a two-tone color scheme and a futuristic touch with a roof-mounted lidar sensor.

Moving inside, the bZ3X prioritizes a comfortable and functional driving experience. The cabin adopts a familiar Toyota approach, focusing on simplicity and practicality. A full LCD instrument cluster provides drivers with essential information, while a large central touchscreen controls the infotainment system and various vehicle settings. Ample storage compartments ensure clutter-free journeys, and the overall color scheme exudes a fresh and inviting atmosphere.

While detailed specifications haven’t been revealed yet, Toyota has confirmed that the bZ3X will be a strong contender in the burgeoning compact electric SUV segment. With its stylish design, spacious interior, and advanced features, the bZ3X is poised to attract a new generation of eco-conscious drivers in China.

We expect to receive more information about the bZ3X’s powertrain, range, and pricing closer to its official launch date. Stay tuned for further updates!
