Recently, we learned from GAC-Toyota that the pure electric Toyota C-HR will be introduced to the mainland China market and will be officially launched in 2020. The car was unveiled at 2019 Shanghai International Auto Show in April 2019, which is expected to become Toyota’s first pure electric vehicle launched in China. GAC-Toyota has not announced the power parameters of the car for the time being. The official is still tight-lipped for the C-HR Hybrid model that consumer concerned about.
The Toyota C-HR EV is similar in appearance to the fuel version. The biggest difference is fake grille in front end, the rear end of the exhaust pipe is removed, tt the same time, the wheel is optimized for low wind resistance, the visual effect is also more sci-fi.
Toyota has said that it will launch more than 10 electric vehicles in China by 2025; more than 5.5 million electric vehicles will be sold globally by 2030.
