On November 5th, Denza officially launched its mid-size MPV, the right-hand drive Denza D9, in Bangkok, Thailand. The company also announced the vehicle’s pricing. Available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants, the D9 is priced between 1,999,900 and 2,699,900 Thai Baht (approximately US$59,100 to US$79,890). Notably, the Thai market marks the fourth market in the Asia-Pacific region for Denza, following Hong Kong, Cambodia, and Singapore.
As part of its expansion plans, Denza will establish five brand showrooms in key regions of Thailand. By the end of the year, the brand aims to have ten sales outlets in the country. Additionally, Denza will enter the markets of Macau, Malaysia, and Indonesia before the end of the year. At the upcoming Thailand International Motor Expo, Denza will have its own dedicated exhibition area where the Denza D9 and Denza Z9GT will be jointly showcased.
As a reference, the Denza D9, positioned as a mid-to-large MPV, currently offers 17 variants in the Chinese market, with prices ranging from 339,800 to 660,000 RMB. Dimension-wise, the vehicle measures 5,250mm in length, 1,960mm in width, and 1,920mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,110mm. Powertrain options include plug-in hybrid and pure electric variants. The DM-i models are equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine specifically designed for plug-in hybrids, delivering a combined output of 299 kW and 681 Nm. Pure electric versions offer both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations, with the single-motor two-wheel drive variant producing 230 kW and the dual-motor four-wheel drive variant generating 275 kW. CLTC-rated ranges for the pure electric models are 620 km, 660 km, and 600 km, respectively.
