Recently, we obtained a set of spy photos of the upcoming Dongfeng Nissan Ariya models. The pictures primarily reveal to us the design of the rear and side parts of the car. It can be seen that the design of the upcoming Dongfeng Nissan Ariya follows the design language of the overseas version. It will be used as a whole, and it still has an excellent cross-border fashion attribute. As per the previous news, the new Ariya will officially open for pre-sale in 2022.
The lines on the side and roof of the body are very smooth. The streamlined roof lines give the vehicle a more dynamic visual effect. In addition, the upper edge of the window frame of the new car is also equipped with a silver trim that extends to the rear of the vehicle. The overall shape looks more dynamic. As an electric SUV, it will, of course, reflect the characteristics of new energy in terms of styling design. For example, the side of the body is equipped with a low wind resistance rim, which is expected to reduce wind resistance.
At the rear of the car, the new car will follow the design of the taillight group of the overseas version. Although the taillights of the real model are not lit, we can see that the light group adopts a more technologically-sense parallel light source layout. At the same time, the rear surround of the new car is equipped with a relatively wide guard plate, which can improve the visual center of gravity of the vehicle to a certain extent and create a stronger sense of cross-border. Then the rear logo and the nameplate are blocked, but the “Dongfeng Nissan” logo can be seen vaguely. It will have a length, width, and height of 4595/1850/1655mm and a wheelbase of 2755mm.
Dongfeng Nissan Ariya Power!
According to the previously exposed news, Nissan Ariya China version will be available in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions. The entry-level version of the Nissan Ariya is equipped with a single motor and adopts a front-drive design. It will have a maximum power of 160 kW/178 kW and a peak torque of 300 Nm. At the same time, the high-end version will feature front and rear dual motors, four-wheel drive, and a matching torque distribution system. The maximum power would be 250 kW/290 kW, and the peak torque is 600 Nm. Nissan Ariya provides batteries with 87kWh and 63kWh capacities in the cruising range. The WLTC cruising range ranges from 430 to 610 km depending on the model.
