Land Rover China officially announced that the new generation Range Rover would be formally launched in the Chinese market on April 21. The new generation Range Rover was initially being planned to be launched during the 2022 Beijing Auto Show. However, the product has not been affected by the delay in the auto show. The brand has previously officially announced the pre-sale price of two special edition. The pricing for these variants will vary between 2,098,800 yuan and 2,518,800 yuan, respectively.

All-new Range Rover

The new-gen Range Rover adopts a more brief appearance when it comes to styling and design. The iconic air intake grille is connected to the headlight group. This air intake grille looks very delicate with the chrome decoration. Further, the daytime running LED lights also integrate the necessary radar and other sensors into it. All of these looks very harmonious.

The new-gen Range Rover on the Chinese market is an imported vehicle, so the whole things are the same, it continues the tall body shape when it comes to the body shape. The overall design of the side is very smooth. It adopts hidden door handles similar to its previous models. The front and rear fenders are more comprehensive than the car body. The Land Rover uses a minimalist style for the new Range Rover on the rear. The vertical layout of the taillight group and the turn signal group are hidden in the horizontal decorative strip.

Range Rover Engine Options

The new domestic Range Rover will be introduced first as the fuel version in terms of power. There are reports that the PHEV version may be launched later. The first version available during the pre-sale model would be the V8 version, and the P530 model equipped with a 4.4T twin-turbo V8 engine. It can produce a maximum power of 530 horsepower and a peak torque of 750 Nm. At the same time, the new Range Rover will also be equipped with an Invitrogen 3.0T inline six-cylinder engine + a 48V micro-hybrid system. The P360 model has a maximum power of 360 hp and a peak torque of 500 Nm.

In comparison, the P400 model has a maximum power of 400 hp and a peak torque of 550 Nm. The transmission is matched with 8-speed automatic transmission, and the drive form is a four-wheel drive. It is also equipped with an advanced dynamic response system (Dynamic Response Pro) and a four-wheel steering system.
