On October 25th, Wuling Motors‘ first sedan, the Wuling Starlight, was officially unveiled. The new car will offer both plug-in hybrid and pure electric versions. The new car will initially launch a plug-in hybrid version, which is expected to be officially launched in late November; The pure electric version will be launched in early 2024.

In terms of appearance, the new car features the star wing aesthetic design concept, with an overall avant-garde and fashionable style, and hangs the Wuling silver badge. The plug-in hybrid version adopts a wingspan layout front grille, paired with star ring daytime running lights. The electric version, on the other hand, features a closed grille design, although both use split type headlights. However, the specific details of the lamp group differ significantly from the plug-in hybrid version.

The lines on the side of the car body are smooth and dynamic, with a lightning shaped visual effect and a sleek design. The new car is equipped with 18 inch wheels. In terms of the tail, the continuous star ring taillights have a certain futuristic feel, and a large area of black surrounding is also used below, making the overall style very sporty. In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the car are 4835/1860/1515mm, and the wheelbase is 2800mm.

In terms of interior, the new car offers two interior color options: dark black and light sand, with a simple and comfortable layout of the center console. It is also paired with a 15.6-inch central control screen and an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel.

In terms of power, the pure electric version will be equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 100 kilowatts; The plug-in hybrid version will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L engine and an electric motor, with a maximum engine power of 78 kW.
