Wuling Hongguang made its battery-powered model debut in mainland China on September 6th, launching with two models and opening pre-sales. Priced between 69,800 and 72,800 yuan, the new electric vehicle accommodates up to six passengers and boasts a 300-kilometer CLTC pure electric range.
The redesigned exterior of the new vehicle features a more rounded profile and a fully enclosed front grille. The headlights, incorporating projector lenses, offer improved visibility. A long, blackened air intake contributes to the vehicle’s aerodynamic efficiency. The side profile showcases a simple yet sturdy design, complemented by durable, blackened steel wheels.
The rear end showcases a sportier taillight design, while the rear window provides excellent visibility. The generously sized tailgate makes loading and unloading cargo a breeze. Dimensionally, the vehicle spans 4515mm long, 1725mm wide, and 1790mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2850mm. Interior seating options include 5- and 6-seater configurations.
Powering the new vehicle is a single electric motor producing a maximum power output of 75 kilowatts and a peak torque of 180 Nm. Equipped with a 32.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, the vehicle supports DC fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes and offers a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 300 kilometers.
