We obtained the declaration information of SAIC-GM-Wuling 730 from China MIIT. The new car can basically be regarded as the rebadging of the outgoing 2016 Baojun 730.
In terms of appearance, Wuling 730 basically follows the main design of the outgoing Baojun 730. The front face is equipped with a large-size shield-type front grille and a banner-style chrome trim. The front bumper has a penetrating design with front fog lights and LED daytime running lights on both sides. The rear end has polygonal taillights and matched with the high brake lights.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height are 4710/1765/1740mm, and the wheelbase is 2750mm. The current Baojun 730 has a length and height of 4780/1780/1740mm and wheelbase of 2750mm. The Wuling 730 is 70mm shorter in Length and 15mm narrow in width than Baojun 730.
In terms of power, Wuling 730 will be powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine codenamed L2B produced by SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile, with maximum power of 105 ps.
Baojun 730 is a household MPV product of SAIC-GM-Wuling. The car was first launched in the second half of 2014. The car has a seven-seat layout with maximum load capacity of 1680L.
