SAIC MAXUS released the preheating image of its MPV model G20. The new car is the replacement model of G10. It is expected to be officially unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2019. Previously, on social media, some netizens released a new car appearance spy photo. MAXUS G20 test car adopted a new style LED headlight group with sharp shape, the visual effect is quite scientific. The side design is closer to the current model G10, the rounded side window profile, the hidden side door slide at the bottom of C/D pillar window frame, the blackened D-pillar and the waistline are all in line with the current model.
The tail of G20 has also been replaced with a new style of LED taillights, the double semi-circular LED strips create a stronger texture.
From preview image the central handrail of G20 integrates more functions, it has greatly improved in practicality and aesthetics. The armrest is suspected to be equipped with a wireless charging function. The physical buttons at the center console are simplified, the overall look is more textured.
In terms of power, it is expected that MAXUS G20 will continue the power configuration of the current MAXUS G10, providing a total of 3 choices: 2.0T/2.4L gasoline engine and 1.9T diesel engine. The maximum power is 224 horsepower, 143 horsepower and 150 horsepower respectively. The transmission system matches the 5-speed, Manual, 6-speed manual and 6-speed tiptroni transmission.
