At the London Motor Show held on May 16-19th this year, SAIC MG brought its first pure electric vehicle, MG EZS Pure Electric (the MG ZS EV in the UK market), which is currently open for booking in the UK. It will be listed in 1st Sep. 2019 in UK.
According to the report, as the first pure electric vehicle in MG’s history, MG ZS-EV (MG EZS) pure electric has received more than 800 orders. MG ZS-EV is also equipped with a 44.5kWh battery pack as same as the China version. The current power parameters and cruising range have not been announced yet, but It is expected to be in line with China version, to be powered by a motor with maximum power of 110kW (147hp) and maximum torque of 350N·m. Some media also predicted that MG ZS EV’s cruising range under the WLTP standard is about 198miles(320km) (The current China-spec is 208 miles(335km) under NEDC). The current price range in China market starts from 119,800 to 149,800 yuan (~EUR€15,500 – EUR€19,381 at current rate).
The MG ZS EV that currently known to be sold in the UK will be equipped with panoramic sunroof, GPS navigation, Carplay, Android Auto, keyless entry system, blind zone detection, adaptive cruise as standard configuration.
