On March 28, 2022, the pure electric compact sedan under the SEHOL (“Sihao” or “思皓” in Chinese) brand of JAC Group, the SEHOL AIPAO (Chinese says “爱跑” means “Like to Run”, the trunk badge has its model name “E.50A PRO”), officially opened for pre-sale, with a pre-sale price starting from 130,000 yuan.
The appearance of SEHOL AIPAO is much similar to the other model SEHOL YAO, a compact fuel vehicle under the same brand, and this is why it uses a similar family design style. However, as an electric car, the front face of AIPAO is with a fake grille design which looks more concise, the bar-type headlights continue to be retained, and the fog lights and air intakes designed with black broken lines below are more sporty.
On the side of the body, the new car adopts a two-color paint with different colors on the roof and the body. The waistline of the body runs straight through the body to the rear. It is matched with “V”-shaped four-spoke two-color rims and red brake calipers, making the new car sporty. Feel a certain improvement. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the car are 4770/1820/1510mm respectively.
At the rear of the car, the new car adopts a bar-type taillight group, and an array-type light source combination is used inside the main body of the taillights on both sides, which is highly recognizable after lighting. In addition, the concave-convex design of the rear surround and trunk lid of the new car forms a good sense of hierarchy, making the new car look more neat. There is a name on the trunk badge “E.50A PRO”.
For the interior, the new car adopts a full LCD instrument panel and is equipped with a four-spoke multi-function steering wheel. The central control adopts a vertical layout floating multimedia display, which is integrated with the central console. The overall layered design of the console allows the new car’s sense of technology to be well displayed. The new car will provide 64-color ambient lights, as well as Huawei’s intelligent driving system, 77GHz millimeter-wave radar, and a large wide-angle camera to achieve L2-level assisted driving functions.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 142 kW, a maximum torque of 340 Nm, and a ternary lithium battery pack of 64 kWh. The official 0-100km/h acceleration time is 7.6 seconds, and the top speed is 142km/h.
