On January 3rd, Lynk & Co unveiled its all-new flagship large SUV, the Lynk & Co 900 (codenamed L946). The vehicle is built on the SPA Evo platform, designed specifically for large electric hybrid vehicles, and is positioned as a premium six-seat SUV. The overall design follows the “Urban Opposition Aesthetics” philosophy of THE NEXT DAY.

In terms of exterior design, the front of the vehicle features a layout where the headlights and lower front grille are aligned in parallel, maintaining the design DNA of “THE NEXT DAY” while incorporating symmetrical aesthetics to enhance structural sophistication and balance the commanding presence of a flagship SUV. Inspired by the rising sun’s halo, Lynk & Co has created a seamless, open, and interactive digital pixel lighting system composed of 10,192 LED beads, supporting 32 levels of grayscale control.

Additionally, the headlights feature rectangular light source technology and come with pre-programmed lighting scenarios for welcoming, driving, and parking modes, while also supporting customizable intelligent lighting scenes. In the welcome scenario, users can personalize the lighting display with custom welcome and farewell messages, including manually entered text or creative designs such as graffiti or ink paintings. Furthermore, the vehicle’s vertical waterfall-style grille is equipped with an active intelligent opening and closing mechanism, enhancing airflow and cooling efficiency during hot summer months and aiding in faster engine warm-up during winter.
On the sides of the vehicle, each side of the front features a vertically extending logo breathing light, seamlessly integrating the brand’s logo light with the welcome light. The lights illuminate in a breathing effect when a person approaches, offering both a welcome and charging light display. Additionally, the vehicle comes equipped with flush door handles and soft-close doors, using a capacitive touch opening mechanism with a de-icing feature. The window design incorporates the currently popular hidden weatherstrip style, further emphasizing the floating roof’s visual effect. Moreover, the front overhang has been designed shorter, increasing the approach angle to 20°, giving the vehicle a more compact and dynamic appearance.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,240 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,810 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm and an overall drag coefficient of 0.291 cd. Additionally, the new model will offer three wheel options: 20-inch “Light Swirl” wheels, 21-inch “Light Wing” wheels, and 21-inch “Light Speed” low-drag wheels. The Lynk & Co 900 will also be equipped with front 4-piston fixed calipers, achieving a braking distance of 33.95 meters from 100 km/h to 0.

At the rear, the vehicle features an electric tailgate with a ground-level opening, capable of supporting up to 300 kg. This design allows for expanded functionality, making it suitable for outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, or item placement, and it also supports diverse customization and modifications to enhance outdoor lifestyle experiences. The new model is equipped with intelligent flowing interactive taillights, consisting of 8 rows of LED lights with a total of 2,400 individually controllable LEDs. These interactive taillights serve both parking and driving entertainment purposes and are integrated with intelligent lighting scenes that allow users to customize their own settings.

Moving to the interior, the vehicle features a 30-inch 6K integrated screen, offering a seamless multi-angle split-screen experience and unified interaction. Additionally, it comes equipped with a multifunction steering wheel, a 12.66-inch high-definition digital instrument cluster, and a 30-inch 6K rear entertainment screen. The vehicle will also include advanced driving technology powered by Orin-X/Thor systems and dual 8295 cockpit chips.

The center console is fitted with a star-diamond smart control knob made of PC semi-transparent material with a 3D depth effect. The interior also supports 256-color RGB flowing gradient ambient lighting, utilizing a Smart RGB array combined with light strips to create dynamic effects. It supports AI-generated ambient light colors with intelligent scene interaction, such as breathing, heartbeat, and music rhythm effects, providing a diverse range of dynamic lighting options.

In terms of performance, the Lynk & Co 900 offers three powertrain options: a 2.0T engine paired with three electric motors (front: 123kW, rear: 160kW/160kW), a 2.0T engine with dual electric motors (front: 123kW, rear: 230kW), and a 1.5T engine with dual electric motors (front: 160kW, rear: 230kW). The system’s combined maximum output is 630kW, 540kW, and 530kW, respectively. According to the official specifications, the vehicle accelerates from 0-100 km/h in around 4 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 200 km/h. Additionally, the vehicle features Lynk & Co’s Super AI Digital Chassis, enabling advanced functionalities such as in-place “waltz” turning, crab walking mode, and agile steering.
