We learned from the official, GAC-Mitsubishi Airtrek (Chinese name “阿图柯”) will be listed on March 30. The new car is positioned with compact pure electric SUV and is built with GAC Aion V. Previously, Airtrek has officially launched and opened pre-sale and pre-sale price range of 210,000-240,000 yuan (~33,243 – US$37,992)
In terms of appearance, Airtrek uses the Mitsubishi Auto “Dynamic Shield” design language. The front face grille angle is distinct and the internal transverse trim strip adds the honeycomb design, the overall strength is full; the lamp group on both sides of the front side is mixed with chrome-plated decoration. The tail lamp group adopts a strong Y-shaped design, and the EV logo in the lower right corner of the tailgate is also added to highlight it’s an EV.
The overall design of GAC Mitsubishi Airtrek is more concise, using full liquid crystal meter + large-size floating central control screen combination; and the car is also equipped with Mitsubishi’s latest wisdom interactive cabin, which has a new generation of XTTS voice and supports sound source positioning, capable of achieving more intelligent voice interaction. In addition, the new car has adopted a new three-wire multi-function steering wheel and a knob shift design. In terms of seats, GAC Mitsubishi Airtrek uses black and white splicing simple color matching in coloring, with upper cortex and soft material, and a better sense.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a maximum power 135kW, the maximum torque 350N · m permanent magnet synchronous motor + capacity is 69.9kWH ternary lithium battery, and the total weight of the battery pack is 435kg. In terms of rage, the CLTC comprehensive range is 520 kilometers.
The size of Airtrek is 4630x1920x1728mm, and the wheelbase is 2830mm. In terms of the trunk, Airtrek has a routine volume of 368L, and the rear seat support proportion folding, the retrieval volume can be expanded to 1102L.
Comparing with GAC AION V, both have very similar sizes (AION V: 458619201728mm), and the same wheelbase, the pure electric cruising range is also much similar, AION V declared it is 500km under NEDC. The only difference is the price, while AION V’s price starts from 177600 to 186800 yuan (~US$28,114 – US$29,570) (70kWH Ternary Lithium battery or Lithium Iron Phosphate battery), or 199600 to 239600 yuan (~US$31,596 – US$37,928) (80-90kWh battery).
