Xpeng Motors announced the delivery volume in January: the first break of 6,000, an increase of 470% year-on-year

On February 1, Xpeng Motors announced the delivery data for January 2021: total deliveries of 6,015 vehicles, an increase of 470% year-on-year, doubled year-on-year for 7 consecutive months, and set the best delivery record in history for the third consecutive month.

From the perspective of specific model delivery data, Xpeng P7 delivered 3,710 units in a single month, maintaining growth for three consecutive months; since the large-scale delivery in July 2020, a total of 18,772 units have been delivered.

At the same time, the monthly delivery of Xpeng G3 reached 2,305 units, an increase of 118% year-on-year, and also reached a new high in delivery in the last 18 months. At the end of last year, Xpeng G3i also took the lead to enter the European market, delivering 100 new cars in Norway.

Xpeng Motors said that while the delivery volume is rising, the development of product research and development and capital market is also steadily advancing.

In early January, Xpeng Motors announced that it has reached a cooperation with Livox, which is incubated by DJI, and plans to launch the world’s first mass-produced smart car equipped with lidar in 2021.

On January 26, Xpeng P7 model ushered in a major OTA upgrade, adding more than 40 new functions and achieving more than 200 user experience optimizations. At the same time, Xpeng NGP automatic navigation assisted driving (public beta) has also begun to be open to users.
