The updated Leapmotor C10 has officially launched, with four models available priced between 125,800 and 142,800 RMB (approximately $17,300 – $19,700 USD). As a mid-cycle refresh two years after its debut, the mid-size SUV features comprehensive upgrades across its exterior, interior, powertrain, range, chassis, and intelligent configurations, continuing to offer both range-extender and pure electric options.
### Exterior: Refined Design and Enhanced Presence
The exterior updates focus on the front fascia, featuring new “Sky Light” split-style headlights. The upper section retains the signature Leapmotor daytime running light design, while the lower section integrates high/low beam lighting, cornering assist lights, and a small blue indicator for driving assistance. The front bumper now includes an active grille, and the roof continues to house a high-precision LiDAR sensor.
The vehicle’s length has increased by 10mm, with dimensions now measuring 4749/1900/1680mm and a wheelbase of 2825mm. It retains its 5-seat layout. New wheel options include 18-inch low-drag wheels and 20-inch classic five-spoke wheels. A new “Cloud Gold” paint option joins the existing palette, bringing the total to six colors.
### Interior: Elevated Luxury and Comfort
The cabin introduces a new “Sandstone Brown” color scheme. The dashboard features a new layered design with waterfall ambient lighting, and the air vents are now hidden for a minimalist, premium look. A new energy-saving heat pump air conditioning system has been implemented for better efficiency.
Detailing has been upgraded with metallic-textured speaker covers and a new two-tone steering wheel. The center console has been redesigned with an improved wireless charging pad and a side-opening armrest box.
### Intelligent Cockpit: Hardware Overhaul
The C10 now features a 60-inch AR-HUD system and a slim 8.8-inch high-definition instrument cluster. The central infotainment screen has been upgraded to a 17.3-inch 3K display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip for improved responsiveness. Audio quality is enhanced with a 14-speaker system, with high-end trims offering an 18-speaker setup including a driver-seat headrest speaker.
### Seating and Utility
The front seats are now “Zero Gravity” seats, supporting a 124-degree recline with heating, ventilation, and 10-point massage. The rear cabin adds a multi-functional table with cup holders and a dedicated phone mount. A 7.5L smart fridge is also available. The trunk offers 510L of space, expandable to 1809L with seats folded, plus an additional 93L of hidden storage.
### Powertrain and Performance
The range-extender version sees its power output increased to 200kW, with a 0-100km/h time of 7.38 seconds. Its pure electric range is now 290km, with a total range of 1300km. The pure electric version now delivers 230kW, hitting 0-100km/h in 6.02 seconds, with a maximum range of 660km. Both versions support fast charging, with the 800V platform on the EV model allowing a 30-80% charge in just 16 minutes.
### Chassis and Safety
The suspension remains a MacPherson front and five-link rear setup, now standard with FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) for improved ride comfort. The LMC integrated motion control system is standard across the range, enhancing stability in emergency maneuvers. High-end models equipped with LiDAR utilize the Qualcomm 8650 chip for advanced, full-scenario intelligent driving assistance.
