
Recently, Dongfeng-Venucia(Qichen) announced the official launch of 2020 Venucia T70 in China market. The new car has launched a total of seven models, offering 1.6L and 2.0L power options, with a price range of 89,800-127,800 yuan (~US$13,055 – US$18,579).
Venucia T70 is the first SUV developed by Dongfeng-Venucia, it debuted in 2015, sales volume has exceeded 130,000 units. It is based on Nissan C platform, it shares a platform with Nissan Qashqai and outgoing X-Trail.
As a model year update, 2020 Venucia T70 has basically continued the design of the 2019 model, it has only adjusted in some details. For example, the trapezoidal air intake below the front face is larger in size, while the fog light areas on both sides look more atmospheric and tough.
The length, width and height of 2020 Venucia T70 are 4614/1786/1625/2630mm, wheelbase 2630mm respectively.

The interior of 2020 Venucia T70 has not changed much, using a simple and practical layout. In terms of configuration, the new car comes standard with LED daytime running lights, electric adjustment rearview mirrors, electric adjustment of the main driver’s seat, anti-glare interior mirrors, multi-function driving computer, brake assist system, automatic lock and so on.
In terms of power, the new car is still powered by 1.6L and 2.0L engines, it canceled the 1.4T engine. The 1.6L model only meets China-V emission standards, with maximum power of 89kW (119ps) and peak torque of 154N·m. The 2.0L engines meets both China-V and China VI emission standards. The China-V version has maximum power of 106kW (142ps), the China-VI version has 110kW (147ps), and the peak torque is 198N·m. In the transmission system, the 1.6L model matches the 5-speed manual transmission, and the 2.0L models are matched to the CVT transmission.

Venucia (Qichen) was founded by Dongfeng-Nissan in 2010. In February 2017, Dongfeng-Venucia, newly established by Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (DFL), became the parent company of Venucia Brand and thus separated from Dongfeng-Nissan.
Anyway Dongfeng-Venucia is still a sub-brand of Dongfeng Motor and Nissan, as DFL is a joint venture company established by Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. jointly with a 50:50 share ratio. DFL owns Nissan, INFINITI, Venucia and Dongfeng brands in China market.
