Recently, we spotted the filing images for the Dongfeng eπ008 filing in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) database. The new model retains its existing exterior design, with the primary updates focused on its powertrain performance.
In terms of powertrain, the extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5T range-extender system. The range extender itself delivers a maximum power of 95 kW, while the drive motor now produces a maximum power of 215 kW—an increase of 15 kW compared to the current model.
The pure electric version features a single-motor setup with a maximum power output of 230 kW, representing a 30 kW boost over the outgoing version.
Regarding dimensions, the new model measures 5002/1972/1732 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 3025 mm, remaining identical to the current model. Both the extended-range and pure electric versions submitted for filing are configured as 6-seater models.
