BYD F3DM low-carbon model’s appearance is still based on BYD F3, so there is little change on body shape, there is only one more solar panel on roof by comparing with F3DM which was listed on 2008, there are very clear dual-mode electric mark on its front and rear part of this low-carbon model, we can easily identified it.

There is only detail change on BYD F3DM Low-Carbon‘s appearance, the more obvious change is that the red tail light shell is changed to crystal diamond design; the front grille is more modern, with DM logo black honeycomb radiator grille and body side base plate on both sides are increasing, distributed around the central vehicle marked with blue color and very fit body.

The largest distinction on appearance between BYD F3 Low-carbon model and F3DM comes as the solar panel roof, absorbing solar energy and convert it into electricity, then stores in batteries, so that the car can also use green energy
