The official images of the Maextro S800 Grand Design have been released, with the vehicle scheduled for its public debut in June. As a new high-end bespoke edition, the model features a sophisticated “distant mountain green and dark” two-tone exterior, accented by numerous gold-finished badges. Based on the license plate shown in the official images, the model is expected to be officially named the Maextro S800 Collector’s Edition.

The exterior design showcases an elegant two-tone color scheme, blending a deep, serene green with white. The front fascia is highlighted by a gold-finished brand emblem, complemented by a vertical gold trim strip running down the center of the hood. This premium aesthetic is further emphasized by gold accents on the fenders, C-pillars, wheels, and rear badging.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,480 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,536 (or 1,542) mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,370 mm. Beyond the roof-mounted 896-line LiDAR, the vehicle features additional cameras integrated into the B-pillars, suggesting it will be equipped with Huawei’s latest Qiankun ADS 5.0 advanced driver-assistance system.

The S800 Grand Design will be available in both range-extended and pure electric powertrains. The range-extender model utilizes a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 127 kW, paired with a tri-motor setup (160 kW, 237.5 kW, and 237.5 kW), offering a WLTC pure electric range of 276 km. The pure electric version features a dual-motor system from Huawei, delivering 160 kW and 230 kW respectively. We will continue to monitor and report on further details regarding this model.
