The black sports rim and the shark raft at the bottom of the fender also enhance the sportiness of the car.
In terms of rear end, the width and brake lights or to use LED as the light source, the bottom is also designed with bilateral double exhaust system, which also plays a role in improving the overall movement.
In the interior, many areas are wrapped with stitching leather, the texture of the stitch pattern can be also seen on top of the center console. The central control panel is a vertical screen design with a large size and slightly driver-focused to the main driving side. About Luxgen
Luxgen (Hangzhou) Automobile Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Taiwan Yulon Group and Dongfeng Motor, which was established in December 2010. The two companies each hold 50% of the company’s shares, the company is located in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou
In the early years, Luxgen also ushered in the peak period of development. Luxgen 7, as a mid-to-large SUV, featured the 10.7-inch large central control LCD screen, night vision camera and lane keeping system, was the leading product of its segment at that time. It caused widespread concern in Chinese market and became popular after the listing. In 2011, it achieved sales of more than 30,000 vehicles and became one of the few models that could compete with joint venture brands at that time. In 2015, the sales volume was as high as 60,000 units.
However, the good times did not last long. Due to the stagnation of R&D, product strategy problems, collapse of product reputation, the growth of other Chinese brands, Luxgen began to decline. Sales in 2016 dropped significantly, but there are still more than 40,000 units. By 2017, only more than 10,000 cars were sold throughout the year, it was even worse, the sales volume of last year was only 7,000 units. In the first five months of this year, it sold only more than 500 units, which was almost forgotten by Chinese consumers.
