We learned from official sources that the ZEEKR MIX will make its debut at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show as the fifth model. The new car will continue ZEEKR‘s latest design language, equipped with the STARGATE integrated smart light curtain, and adopt a new door opening method.
In terms of appearance, the car adopts the “Hidden Energy” minimalist exterior design language used in the ZEEKR 007. The front lines are more rounded, and the headlights are slender and full of technology. At the same time, the large black air intake below also enriches the visual hierarchy of the car.
On the side of the body, the ZEEKR MIX adopts a “big mini-van” body structure, with a body size of 4688/1995/1755mm, but the wheelbase reaches 3008mm, which means it will have a considerable interior space. I believe everyone is very curious about the way the car’s doors open. There is no official news yet. However, from the spy photos exposed recently, it is expected that the driver’s side will use a traditional front door + side sliding rear door, while the co-pilot’s side will use an opposite-opening side sliding door, which is worth looking forward to in terms of practicality.
The rear design of the ZEEKR MIX is very simple, with a bar-type LED light located at the bottom of the rear windshield, and the two are integrated together. At the same time, the black rear bumper shape and color scheme echo the front of the car. Combined with previous information, it is expected that the new car will provide 19-inch multi-spoke wheels, and high-trim models will be upgraded to 20 inches. In addition, it is expected that the high-trim of the ZEEKR MIX will also be equipped with lidar.
In terms of interior, there are armrests on both sides of the front seats of the vehicle, and the front row of the new car is suspected to adopt a three-seat design, with a small seat in the middle that can be folded and stored to become a central armrest. Therefore, the front left and right passages are unobstructed and can be traversed. The new car still adopts the design of the column shift.
The rear row of the vehicle is designed with three seats, but the left and right seats are also equipped with leg rests, providing a very comfortable riding space. Since the right side of the vehicle is designed with an opposite-opening sliding door, it will be very convenient to get in and out of the rear row of the vehicle, and the backrest of the co-pilot’s seat can also be moved forward.
In terms of power, according to the previous declaration information, the ZEEKR MIX will be equipped with a motor with model TZ235XYC01 and a maximum power of 310kW. Two versions have been declared, with curb weights of 2739kg and 2639kg, respectively, and both are equipped with CATL ternary lithium batteries. It is estimated that the battery capacity is different.
