Geely officially released the interior design drawings of its all new mid-size SUV, Geely Haoyue (“豪越” in Chinese), Using the latest in design language, the new car appears stylish and youthful. The new car will be offered as 5-seater/7-seater layout.
Design drawings revealed details about the interior of the new car. A two-tone combination is used for the top and bottom; the center console adopts a straight line, while the LCD instrumentation and large-sized floating center control LCD screen are positioned side-by-side. The car’s air conditioning outlet vents use an infinity shape. The three-spoke, multi-function steering wheel with the “family-style” handlebar shape adds to the sporty feel. The Geely Haoyue will provide a 5- and 7-seater layout option.
Overall, the new car adopts the new family design language, “Recalling the Diffused Universe,” along with the all-black Geely logo. Details-wise, the Geely Haoyue uses a polygon-shaped headlight group with hollow trims below the grille and sharp-angled fog lamps. The shape, as a whole, is a “U”. From the sides, the car taps a rigid body and muscled wheel eyebrows. The flat roof design means ample headroom for driver and passengers alike.
From the rear, the new car has simple lines, with polygonal taillights on both sides linked by a chrome trim. Silver anti-scratch guard under the tail further reinforces its SUV credentials.
Positioned as a mid-size SUV, the Geely Haoyue’s physical dimensions are 4835mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1780mm in height with a 2815mm wheelbase.
Configuration-wise, the car may come equipped with LED steering mirrors, matrix headlights, ACC + 12 radar, panoramic sunroof, and front fog lights.
Under the hood, the new car will be powered by 1.8T and 1.5T engines, with a maximum power output of 184 and 177 horsepower, respectively.
