Geely Bin Yue is a small SUV model launched in 2018 by Geely Auto, Appearance of Geely Bin Yue is young and sporty, Geely Bin Yue is built by Geely’s latest BMA platform, mainly focused on young consumers.
Recently, Geely released the official map of Geely Bin Yue PHEV version. The PHEV version continues the design style of Geely Bin Yue fuel version. It will use a plug-in hybrid system with a 1.5L turbo engine. The vehicle’s 0-100km/h acceleration time is only 6.9 seconds, fuel consumption level is 1.4L/100km. It is reported that the new car will be officially listed at the end of May 2019.
The appearance of Geely Binyue PHEV is the same as its fuel version. The front fender has a charging socket. The details are different from the fuel version. For example, the grille and the badge on the tail are blue element, in order to prove the identity of its new energy model. In addition, the body size remain the same as its fuel version: 4330/1800/1609mm, as well as the wheelbase of 2600mm.
The interior of Geely Binyue PHEV version has also the same style as the fuel version, but the plug-in version has been replaced with an electronic gear lever, which is more technical than the previous mechanical block. In terms of configuration, the vehicle is equipped with multiple configurations such as intelligent piloting system, APA(automatic parking system), AEB-P pedestrian identification and protection function, LKA(lane keeping assist) and SLIF(traffic speed limit identification).
In terms of power, the PHEV version is powered by a plug-in hybrid system including a 1.5T engine, matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The 1.5L turbo engine can output a maximum power of 130kW and a maximum torque of 255Nm. The total output of the system can reach 190kW and the maximum torque is 415Nm.
The vehicle is also equipped with 11.3kWh ternary lithium battery. It has a all-electric range (AER) of more than 37miles(60km). With the support of a 6.6kW charging pile, it takes only 1.5 hours to be full charged in fast charging mode, 0-100km/h acceleration time is only 6.9s, fuel consumption per 100km is only 1.4L.
