On the evening of June 23, Geely Haoyue was officially launched, it is offered in 3 variants with guide prices ranging from 103,600 to 139,600 yuan (~US$14,653 – US$19,745). Geely Haoyue is one of Geely’s heavyweight models this year. Haoyue uses Geely’s latest design language and technology in appearance, interior and configuration.
Geely Haoyue is positioned as a mid-size SUV. Official data shows that the length, width and height are 4835/1900/1780mm, and the wheelbase is 2815mm. After the rear seats are laid down, the depth space can reach 2.2m, and the trunk loading space can be expanded to 2360L.
In appearance, Geely Haoyue adopts the latest design language of the Geely family. The all-black car logo, inverted L-shaped daytime running lights, and longitudinally arranged fog lights make the vehicle tougher. The rear design is simple, and the tail lights on both sides are connected by a central chrome trim.
In the interior, the new car is equipped with a new style of the three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, with “∞” shaped air-conditioning outlet, the interior shape is relatively new and unique. The 12.3-inch full LCD instrument and 12.3-inch central control display, as well as the Geely family’s electronic gear lever, all show a good sense of technology.
In terms of the vehicle infotainment system, Geely Haoyue is equipped with Geely’s latest GKUI intelligent vehicle infotainment system, which has intelligent voice interaction, AI intelligent recognition, and second command instructions.
In terms of power, the car is powered by Geely’s third-generation 1.8TD engine, with a maximum power of 135kW and a maximum torque of 300N·m. It is matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Although 1.8T power is enough, Geely will also launch a 2.0T engine for Hao Yue. The latest news shows that Geely is currently expanding the production of 2.0T engines on the 1.8T production line. This 2.0T engine authorized by Volvo has two versions, high and low power. Among them, the higher power 2.0T engine has a maximum power of 184kW and a peak torque of 350N·m. After being put into production, it is expected to be installed on Haoyue models.
