On August 3rd, Geely Galaxy E5 was officially launched, with a total of 5 models available, priced between 112,800 and 148,800 yuan (~US$15,800 – ~US$20,400). Geely Galaxy E5 is positioned as a battery-powered compact electric SUV, the Galaxy E5 targets the global market and offers both left and right-hand drive versions for global users. It is equipped with Geely’s self-developed 11-in-1 intelligent electric drive and the latest generation “blade-type” lithium iron phosphate battery – the ShenDun short sword battery. Additionally, it will adopt the Galaxy Flyme Auto vehicle system and Flyme Sound boundless sound, jointly developed with Meizu.
Design Highlights:
- The exterior features 8 color options and incorporates biomimetic design elements such as a tiger face, tiger eyes, and tiger whiskers.
- The interior boasts a spacious cabin with a usable area of 4.03 square meters and a lighting area of 3.39 square meters.
- The vehicle offers a range of advanced features, including a 15.4-inch central control screen with Flyme Auto, a 16-speaker sound system, and various seat adjustments.
