History of Geely Boyue:

The Geely Boyue has a short history. The first-generation Boyue was launched in 2016, and at that time, the compact SUV market was dominated by the Haval H6 from GWM. The Boyue was a very competitive product at the time. The second-generation model was launched last year and was originally named the Boyue COOL. The current model has reverted to the Boyue name. The Boyue has sold over 1.8 million units to date.
Competitor Analysis:
The main competitor of the Geely Boyue is the Haval H6. The third-generation facelift of the H6 was launched last week, and it is available with 1.5T and 2.0T engines, as well as two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options.
The other main competitor is the Changan CS75 PLUS on the Chinese market, but it is at the end of its lifecycle and is currently offering significant discounts. The new generation model will be launched in August this year and will have a larger size and more power options.
Compared to these competitors, the new Boyue has a more youthful design and is also excellent in terms of technology and technology configuration. However, the current powertrain options are relatively limited.
