2019 Geely Emgrand GSe was officially launched on the evening of August 7th, 2019, Geely Emgrand GSe is a compact SUV based on its fuel version Emgrand GS. The new car has launched a total of 5 models, the price range is 119,800 yuan (~US$17,011) – 159,800 yuan (~US$22,690) after the subsidy, the range has been upgraded from 219miles(353km) to 279miles(450km).
Compared with the outgoing models, the new car has not changed much in terms of appearance, it offers a two-color body design including white + black, red + black. The front grill still adopts a closed design with the same color as the body.
On the car side, the compact body line and the roof that slides down from the B-pillar are also full of movement; at the rear ned, the new model replaces the Geely brand LOGO on the old model with the “GEELY” English logo. The length, width and height of the new car body have not changed, respectively, 4440/1833/1560mm, and the wheelbase of 2700mm is also consistent with the old models.
In terms of interior design, 2019 Geely Emgrand GSe is almost the same as the old model. In terms of configuration, the new car features an 8-inch central control panel, wireless charging panel, CarLife mobile phone interconnect, iflytek 3.0 system, and 360 panoramic images. In addition, the car also has mobile phone interconnection function, which can open the air conditioner and the trunk remotely.
In terms of power, the 2019 Geely Emgrand GSe 600 models are powered by motors with maximum power of 130kW (174hp) and maximum torque of 270N·m. 2019 Geely Emgrand GSe 500 series models are powered by motors with maximum power of 120kW (160hp) and maximum torque of 250N·m. In terms of significant changes in battery life, the 600 series model is equipped with power battery pack with a capacity of 61.9kWh, the battery pack density reaches 182.44Wh/kg. At the same time, the car also has a high-efficiency temperature control 3.0 system, and its NEDC cruising range reaches 450km. The 500 series models are equipped with power battery pack with a capacity of 53.1 kWh, and their cruising range is slightly increased on the current model, increasing to 400 km.
