Dongfeng’s EV brand Voyah FREE has obtained EU vehicle certification

Voyah Automobile officially announced that Voyah FREE (parameters|inquiry) officially obtained the European Union Vehicle Type Approval (EWVTA) certificate. After obtaining this certification, Voyah FREE can export to 27 EU member states and non-EU member states (such as Norway, Switzerland, Israel) that recognize EWVTA certification in the future, and complete the registration.

EWVTA refers to the vehicle product certification completed in accordance with the EU’s complete vehicle certification framework directive. It has strict access standards and supervision systems for product consistency assurance capabilities, quality control systems, automobile scrap recycling and many other aspects, involving vehicle safety, performance, environmental protection, cruising range and other test items, after completing this certification, it can get a “birth permit” to enter the EU market. Like the previous NIO ES8, it obtained EWVTA certification when it was exported overseas.

Voyah Auto officially announced its entry into the European market on February 17 this year. After that, on June 11, the first overseas Voyah Space opened in Oslo, the capital of Norway. Norway became the first stop for Voyah to export to Europe. Delivery to Norwegian users is expected in the fourth quarter of this year. In the future, Voyah will gradually enter other European countries and gradually enrich the product layout in Europe.

Voyah FREE is a mid-to-large SUV that provides two power systems, extended-range and pure electric. The extended-range version is powered by a 1.5T four-cylinder engine, matched with a generator with a maximum power of 80kW. The maximum power of the front and rear dual motors reaches 510kW and peak torque. 1040N m, the 0-100km/h acceleration time is 4.5 seconds for the extended range version and 4.7 seconds for the pure electric version. The pure electric version has a battery range of 504km.
