The first real-world images of the Stelato G9 have surfaced, revealing a rugged, boxy SUV that commands attention with its massive proportions. Positioned as a large SUV, the G9 measures nearly 5.4 meters in length and stands nearly 1.9 meters tall, effectively surpassing the dimensions of the Yangwang U8. The vehicle is built on a standard 800V high-voltage platform and will be available in both extended-range (EREV) and battery-electric (BEV) configurations.

In terms of design, the Stelato G9 adopts a classic “boxy” aesthetic, deeply integrated with the HarmonyOS family’s signature “Star Ring” design language. The front fascia features a full-width chrome light bar paired with vertical circular lighting units, centered by an illuminated Stelato brand logo.

The side profile is defined by a flat roofline, maximizing vertical interior space. It features flush door handles and “Star Shine” wheels. The G9 measures 5206mm/2050mm/1897mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 3160mm. With an optional rear storage box, the length extends to 5377mm. Designed with a short front overhang, the vehicle offers a 23° approach angle, a 26° departure angle, and a factory-rated wading depth of 900mm.

The rear features a side-hinged tailgate and supports a range of outdoor accessories, including an external storage box, electric side steps, roof racks, and a trailer hitch. Both front and rear lights incorporate auxiliary indicators for driving assistance systems.

Inside, the cabin offers 5-seat (2+3) or 6-seat (2+2+2) configurations. The 6-seat version features independent aviation-style seats in the second row, complete with ventilation, heating, multi-stage massage, and electric leg rests. The cargo area is flat and spacious, and the vehicle comes with a factory-rated 2000kg towing capacity, making it suitable for towing campers or hauling large outdoor gear.

Under the hood, the entire lineup features an 800V high-voltage architecture and the “Giant Whale” battery system. Both the BEV and EREV versions utilize a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, with a front motor peak power of 160kW and a rear motor peak power of 277kW, delivering a combined system output of 437kW. The BEV model is equipped with a 120kWh ternary lithium battery, offering a CLTC range exceeding 700km. The EREV model pairs a 1.5T range extender with a 75.4kWh battery pack, providing a CLTC pure electric range of over 400km and a total combined range exceeding 1300km. The new model is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of this year.
