We obtained information about the second generation of NIO power swapping station from relevant channels. There will be two power swapping modes, namely non-lifting and lifting. The specifications of the power swapping stations are the same, and the time required for one-key power swapping is 4.5 minutes. It is understood that NIO’s first second-generation power station is expected to be officially launched on April 15.
NIO officially released the second-generation power station in January this year, with a battery count of up to 13 and a daily service capacity of up to 312 times, which is more than three times higher than the first-generation power station. In addition, the second-generation power station has added communication technology, and also supports automatic parking of vehicles. Users do not need to get off the car, and can switch electricity by one-key start in the car.
It is understood that NIO’s first second-generation power station is expected to be officially launched at Beijing Sinopec gas station on April 15. At the same time, NIO will also reach a strategic cooperation agreement with Sinopec. In the future, NIO may be built in more Sinopec gas stations. Here comes the replacement station. According to the plan, NIO plans to increase the total number of power swapping stations nationwide to 500 by the end of 2021.
