As the 3rd EV and a current popular coupe-style SUV, NIO EC6 gains a lot of attention. During the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area auto show, the interior of NIO EC6 was exposed. As the third mass-produced model of NIO, this car is positioned as a mid-size pure electric coupe SUV. The car is expected to announce its price and configuration in July and start delivery in September.

The interior of the car was exposed at this auto show. It can be seen that the interior of the new car basically follows the current design style of the family. It is equipped with a flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel. The refined full LCD instrument and large vertical LCD screen are also reserved. At the bottom of the central control screen, there are some physical buttons, including control buttons for the central control interface, gear-lever, etc. The interior of the show car uses a combination of brown and black, and overall is very luxury.

Looking back on the appearance, the NIO EC6 adopts a coupe-style design. Its roofline starts to sink after the B-pillar. The lines are very smooth and show a sense of movement. Of course, the slide-back design can bring a more dynamic appearance, it will affect the headspace of the rear passengers.

The taillights of the new car follow the irregular design of NIO ES6, which will have a higher degree of recognition at night. It is worth mentioning that the car will be equipped with a 2.1-square-meter panoramic roof, which can enhance the sense of openness of the members of the car.

In terms of power, the EC6 performance version is equipped with a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor of 160 kW in the front and a high-performance induction motor of 240 kW in the rear, with an acceleration of 4.7 seconds per 100 km. The sports version is equipped with dual 160-kilowatt permanent magnet motors and accelerates to 5.6 seconds per 100 kilometers. NIO EC6 can be equipped with a 100kWh battery pack, and the performance version has 615 kilometers of NEDC battery life. For the chassis, the vehicle uses a combination of front double wishbones and multi-links, with electronic shock absorbers, and an optional air suspension with adjustable height. For SAE L2 level assisted driving system, the EC6 series comes standard with Mobileye EyeQ4 autopilot chip. Users can use NIO Pilot through subscription + remote upgrade.
