On October 27th, Jetour Shanhai T1 was officially launched. The new car comes in three variants, priced between 154,800 and 174,800 yuan. As another “boxy” model from Jetour, it is positioned as a compact plug-in hybrid SUV with a unibody construction and a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 150km. Currently, only two-wheel drive versions are available. Jetour has also unveiled its “Off-road 3.0” concept, which encompasses five key aspects: off-road capability, safety, comfort, intelligence, and ecology. The company has stated that two new models, the T5 and T7, will be launched in the future.

In terms of exterior design, Jetour Shanhai T1 shares a similar style with the Shanhai T2. The headlights are connected to the grille, and the daytime running lights have a unique petal-like design that gives the headlights a deeper look. The grille also features a daytime running light assembly. The black front bumper showcases a crossover design.

The vehicle’s side profile is characterized by a suspended roof and pronounced black wheel arch extensions. The use of laminated glass for the windshield and all door windows improves noise insulation and safety. With overall dimensions of 4706mm x 1967mm x 1845mm and a wheelbase of 2810mm, the vehicle offers ample interior space. The rear design complements the front, featuring taillights with a similar motif. The robust rear bumper, coupled with an approach angle of 28 degrees, a departure angle of 29 degrees, a ground clearance of 200mm, and a wading depth of 600mm, underscores its off-road potential. Its 1.6-ton towing capacity further enhances its versatility.

The interior exudes a rugged yet refined atmosphere with a stitched dashboard and textured trim on the passenger side. A fully digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating touchscreen dominate the center console, featuring a clean and intuitive interface. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, the infotainment system offers a seamless user experience. Physical controls for the air conditioning are retained below the screen, while wireless charging (50W) and Type-C fast charging (60W) are available for both front and rear passengers. Safety features include blind spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking, and lane departure warning.

The interior boasts a stylish electronic gear selector and a versatile rear section with multiple terrain modes. Equipped with a rear differential lock, electronic parking brake, and a 360-degree camera system, the vehicle offers enhanced off-road capabilities. The power-adjustable front seats, featuring heating, ventilation, and customizable modes, provide exceptional comfort. Upholstered in premium, zero-formaldehyde materials and ergonomically designed, the seats offer a luxurious seating experience. The spacious cargo area can be further expanded by fully folding down the rear seats, and an additional 45L underfloor storage compartment provides ample storage space. In-car amenities include a refrigerator and a projector, elevating the in-vehicle experience. The TOUR OS 2.0 system enhances the journey with over 50 travel scenarios, 1,000+ travel benefits, and 15,000+ travel route recommendations.
Powering the Jetour Shanhai T1 is Chery‘s Kunpeng super-efficient hybrid C-DM system. Equipped with a dedicated 1.5TD hybrid engine boasting a thermal efficiency of 44.5%, the system delivers a maximum power output of 156 hp (115 kW) and a peak torque of 220 Nm. The two-wheel-drive variant features a single electric motor producing 204 hp (150 kW) and 310 Nm of torque. Paired with a CATL lithium iron phosphate battery, the vehicle offers a CLTC pure electric range of 150 km, a fuel consumption of 5.89 L/100 km in hybrid mode, and a combined range of 1300 km. It supports 30-80% fast charging in 30 minutes at normal temperatures and 35 minutes at -20°C, along with a 6.6 kW external power output.
