On October 19th, Chery reached a significant milestone with the rollout of its 15 millionth vehicle, a brand-new mid-size sedan, the CHERY Fulwin A9. Fulwin A9 features a cutting-edge design and is equipped with a C-DM plug-in hybrid system and electric all-wheel drive. Moreover, the company has announced plans to launch eight additional models in 2025.
Fulwin A9 boasts a striking new exterior design. Its closed-off front grille and elongated headlights create a modern and sophisticated appearance. The side air intakes, highlighted by chrome trim, and the narrow, trapezoidal grille further enhance the vehicle’s sporty character.
The side profile of the new car showcases a graceful roofline reminiscent of the EXEED ES. The gently sloping front and rising rear, combined with a flowing roofline, create a visually appealing and dynamic silhouette. The addition of hidden door handles enhances the car’s aerodynamic performance.
The rear end of the car is characterized by a striking full-width taillight design, featuring dual light elements on either side. The addition of chrome trim to the rear bumper enhances the car’s visual appeal and creates a sense of depth. The hidden exhaust tips further contribute to the vehicle’s sleek and sophisticated look.
The interior of the vehicle offers a luxurious and comfortable cabin experience. The dual-tone color scheme creates a sophisticated ambiance, while the premium materials and advanced technologies enhance the overall driving experience. Key features include a spacious cabin, a premium audio system, an intelligent fragrance system, active noise cancellation, and advanced driver-assistance systems. The vehicle also offers a range of connectivity features, such as wireless phone projection and over-the-air updates.
CHERY Fulwin A9 will be powered by a C-DM plug-in hybrid system, combining a 1.5T dedicated hybrid engine with a 150 kW drive motor. The system is paired with a highly efficient 1-speed DHT hybrid transmission, offering a pure electric range of over 200 km and a combined range of over 1500 km in CLTC condition. To enhance driving dynamics, the vehicle features a front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, further refined by a CDC magnetic suspension system. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with intelligent electric all-wheel drive, a speed-controlled electric spoiler, and high-performance brakes with six-piston fixed calipers.
