Chery Tiggo 9 declaration map, will be released in the first half of 2023


Recently, we got the declaration map of Chery Tiggo 9 in the latest catalog of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The new car is the flagship SUV of the Chery brand. It is expected to be officially released in the first half of 2023, offering 5-seater and 7-seater layouts, and the price is expected to be about 200,000 yuan (~US$28,740).

In terms of appearance, although the size of this model is not small, its front face design is cute and unique. The front face has a strong Chery family style design. The grille, the headlights are slender, the upper part is the daytime running light, the lower part is two lens headlights, and the interior uses a matrix LED light source.

On the side of the body, it adopts a design similar to a floating roof, even reminiscent of the Range Rover Velar. The entire roof is a push-down design, the doors are designed with hidden door handles, and the wheels are blackened, looks classy. In terms of model size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4820/1930/1699mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2820mm. The taillights of the vehicle, the left and right taillights are connected by a decorative panel with LOGO, there is a large area of blank space at the rear, which is more atmospheric, and the bumper has two exhausts on both sides.

In terms of power, it is expected that the new car will be equipped with the Kunpeng Power 2.0TGDI engine, which is currently installed on the Tiggo 8 series, with a maximum power of 187kW, a peak torque of 390N m, and a comprehensive fuel consumption of 7.7L/100km.
