On May 19, Chery officially announced the price of its small SUV, the new Tiggo 3x. The new car launched a total of 3 models with a price range of 59,900 to 74,900 yuan. As a facelift model, the new car adopts an updated design style as a whole, which is more recognizable than the current model.
In terms of appearance, the new Tiggo 3x adopts a brand-new design language, and the Inspiration Wing daytime running lights are paired with the family-style Galaxy dot matrix grille, making it highly recognizable as a whole. At the same time, the lower three-stage head shape and the chrome-plated element trim increase the vehicle’s sense of refinement.
Viewed from the side of the body, the car adopts the classic double waistline design, and the lines above the wheel arches also create rich light and shadow effects on the body surface. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4200/1760/1570mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2555mm.
At the rear, the car is also equipped with the popular bar-type taillight group design. The center of the light group is supplemented by the CHERY brand letter badge, with two exhaust decorations on both sides and a large-size spoiler above to enhance the visual hierarchy. It is worth mentioning that the whole series of the car is equipped with 16-inch wheels.
In terms of interior, the car adopts a two-color tone scheme and embellishes the details with stitching to appropriately enhance the sense of movement. At the same time, the three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel is matched with a large-size LCD screen in the central control. The top-end model will be equipped with a 10.25-inch central control screen, while the mid-range and low-end models will be equipped with a 9-inch screen. In addition, the top model will also be equipped with 4 speakers, automatic parking, front seat heating, ESP and other configurations.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine modeled as SQRE4G15C with a maximum power of 85 kilowatts. In terms of transmission, refer to the current model to provide a 5-speed manual gearbox and a CVT gearbox.
