Chery Riich G5 Review and Road Test – Auto-Chinese’s Conclusion

Riich G5’s Advantages:

• All original appearance and interior trim, stylish and decent vehicle body;

• Body sheet metal work and interior materials are high-level in independent brands;

• 2.0T turbocharged engine is energetic with power, the performance rated excellent at the same level (same price);

• Manual transmission gear position is clear and make easy in operation;

• High specification suspension structure, the actual calibration is good, limit is high and control easy;

• There are three separate rear headrests and independent control of air conditioner, take care of everything;

• The glove box , rear armrest and other details of the materials work are surprises;

• Trunk is clean flat and decent, full-size spare tire in it.

Riich G5’s Disadvantages:

• Steering wheel, seats and other details of the design lack distinction, is inconsistent with its position as a sporty vehicle;

• As a business use car, the rear seat space is not enough;

• Rear seat backrest can not be folded to connect with trunk, functionality is limited;

• Car sealing is general, road noise is a little large;

• ESP is only a optional item, is inconsistent with the position of stressing vehicle handling and controllability;

• Domestic turbo engine durability remains to be tested.
