On November 22nd, Chery’s all-new Tiggo 7 concept car was officially unveiled at 2019 Guangzhou Auto Show. The new car was tentatively named “Teaser Car”, it features a new design language and positioned in a compact SUV. The overall shape is very young and avant-garde, in line with the aesthetic needs of today’s young consumers. In terms of personalization, the large-size mesh grille, two-color body, sporty style rims and two-color interiors are quite eye-catching. In terms of power, the car will be available in 1.5T/1.6T engines.
In terms of appearance, Chery all-new Tiggo 7 Teaser Car has a subversive design style. In terms of details, unlike the current family-style design, the new car uses a larger polygonal grille design, its LED headlights are very eye-catching with a very sharp design and a blackening effect. In addition, the new generation of Tiggo 7 Teaser car is also equipped with a double strip LED fog lamp.
On the side of the body, all-new Tiggo 7 Teaser car brings a layered visual impact. At the same time, the new car also incorporates a floating roof design. The five-piece sports wheel is the crowning touch, adding another touch to the sporting atmosphere of the car. It is worth mentioning that the new generation of Tiggo 7 Teaser car also uses a new body color, bright contrast color, showing a strong sports fashion.
At the rear part of the car, the skyline-through taillights inherit the family design of the Tiggo series, stretching the rear-end visual proportions and echoing the high-position brake lights. At the same time, the silver trim design under the rear fog lamp echoes the front trim strip. In terms of body size, all-new Tiggo 7 Teaser car has a length of 4,500 mm and a wheelbase of 2,670 mm.
The overall layout of the interior is very simple, the flat style is in line with the current trend. The two-tone interior creates a strong three-dimensional feel and adds vitality. Compared with the current model, we can see that the size of the central control panel has become larger, and the physical buttons have been reduced, making the whole vehicle look more technologically sensitive. Practical functions such as automatic air conditioning, electronic parking brake, and AUTO HOLD are still available on this vehicle.
In terms of power, with reference to the current model, all-new Tiggo 7 Teaser Car or be powered by a 1.5T engine with maximum power of 108kW. The official fuel consumption per 100km is only 6.9L. The new car will be added with a 1.6T engine. The maximum output is 145kW and the peak torque is 290Nm. The transmission will match 6MT and 7DCT gearboxes.
