The Luxeed RX has officially launched, marking the brand’s first SUV to carry the “X” designation. Positioned as a high-performance coupe SUV, the model is available in six distinct configurations with a starting price of 259,800 yuan ($36,900) and reaching up to 389,800 yuan ($55,400).
The RX features a “floating wing” design language, characterized by a sculpted body structure that emphasizes aerodynamics. It incorporates ten functional air ducts, including specialized channels in the fenders, bumpers, and even the side mirrors, to optimize airflow. The vehicle measures 5,020 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, and 1,585 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. It rides on a staggered tire setup (255mm front, 275mm rear) with wheel options ranging from 20 to 22 inches.
Inside, the cabin centers around a “floating wing” theme, featuring a 16.1-inch rotating central touchscreen, an 8.88-inch passenger display, and a 26-inch AR-HUD. A standout feature is the “intelligent adaptive sport seat,” which utilizes 98 sensors and 27 air bladders to adjust support in real-time based on driving dynamics.
Built on Huawei’s Tuling 800V high-voltage platform, the RX offers both single-motor RWD and dual-motor AWD powertrains. The RWD model produces 277 kW, while the AWD version delivers a combined output of 437 kW. Battery options include an 81 kWh LFP pack and a 100 kWh ternary lithium pack, providing a maximum CLTC range of up to 852 km (529 miles). Performance-wise, the top-spec model hits 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.
Safety and intelligence are core pillars of the RX, which features a quad-LiDAR matrix and 38 fusion sensors, supporting an L3-ready autonomous driving architecture with full-link redundancy. The chassis utilizes an all-aluminum double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension, complemented by dual-chamber air suspension and continuous variable damping.
