Chery has officially announced that its upcoming pickup truck, previously known as the Rely P3X, will be named the Rely Hi800. This new diesel-hybrid model is designed to cater to a versatile range of needs, including family travel, outdoor camping, and light off-roading.

In terms of exterior design, the Rely Hi800 features a narrow, rounded rectangular front grille that integrates the Rely brand logo. This is complemented by circular headlights, giving the front fascia a cohesive and rugged appearance. The lower front bumper is equipped with a skid plate, underscoring the vehicle’s utility and off-road capabilities. Practical features such as side steps and roof rails are also included.

Inside, the cabin adopts a clean, linear design language for the dashboard. Key interior highlights include a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a full LCD instrument cluster, and a 15.6-inch floating infotainment touchscreen. The center console also features a yacht-style electronic gear shifter and retains physical buttons for essential controls, alongside a wireless smartphone charging pad.

Comfort is a priority, with seats offering ventilation, heating, and massage functions. A built-in refrigerator is standard equipment. The front seats can be reclined 180 degrees and feature adjustable seat cushions, while the second-row backrests offer two-stage angle adjustments at 27 and 31 degrees.

While official powertrain specifications have yet to be released, the vehicle is expected to utilize a plug-in hybrid system pairing a 2.5T turbocharged diesel engine with an electric motor. It will feature an intelligent four-wheel-drive system with three differential locks and multiple off-road driving modes, designed to handle challenging terrains such as gravel, mud, and steep inclines.
