On April 10, the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC) announced the Chinese insurance market data for March 2020. Data show that the number of NIO ES6 insurance reached 1504, ranking eighth in the luxury mid-size SUV list in Chinese market.
At the same time, Weilai ES6 is still the best-selling electric SUV in China, and it leads the European and American brand competitors in the luxury pure electric SUV market.
Previously, NIO released its delivery data in March 2020 and the first quarter of 2020, the company delivered a total of 3838 units in the first quarter of 2020. For March 2020 alone, updated delivery data reported the delivery of 1533 cars, an 11.7% increase in year-on-year and 116.8% hike from month-on-month. Among them, delivery data of ES6 and ES8 are 1479 and 54 cars respectively.
