NIO’s 200,000th mass-produced car rolls off the assembly line

Today (April 26), NIO‘s 200,000th mass-produced vehicle rolled off the assembly line at the JAC NIO Hefei Advanced Manufacturing Base, which is another important milestone for NIO. From May 2018 to April 2021, it took NIO three years to achieve the leap from 1 to 100,000 units. Today, NIO has reached the second 100,000 units in just one year.

The roll-off of the 200,000th mass-produced car is an important milestone in NIO’s comprehensive acceleration in 2022. The new models ET7, ET5 and ES7 born on the NIO technology platform NT2 will be delivered one after another; the 2022 NIO ES8, ES6 and EC6 models equipped with the latest smart cockpit hardware, as well as the smart cockpit upgrade plan for existing users will be released soon. Nationwide, in 2022, NIO plans to add no less than 100 sales outlets and more than 50 NIO service centers and authorized service centers.

NIO has increased its investment in full-stack self-research. In 2022, it is expected that R&D investment will more than double year-on-year, and the number of R&D personnel will increase to 9,000 by the end of the year. The second production base in Hefei Xinqiao Intelligent Electric Vehicle Industrial Park is progressing smoothly and is scheduled to be officially put into operation in the third quarter.

The globalization of NIO has accelerated. NIO’s products and system-wide services will be officially launched in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark this year. NIO will continue to provide global users with an experience that exceeds expectations.
