On March 10 (Beijing Time), NIO announced its February 2020 delivery results. Data show that NIO delivered 707 vehicles in February 2020, including 671 ES6 and 36 ES8. The company plans to begin delivering the new ES8 by April 2020. As of February 29, 2020, the cumulative delivery of ES8 and ES6 reached 34,218, of which 2500 were delivered in 2020.
Although China’s passenger car sales were bloodied by the corona virus in February 2020 and fell by more than 78 % year-on-year, NIO’s deliveries during the same period fell by 12.8 % year-on-year.
