Recently, Huawei released its HiCharger DC fast charging module in the form of an online conference. Adhering to the design concept of “reliable, efficient, intelligent and low noise”, the HUAWEI HiCharger DC fast charging module will effectively solve the pain points in the charging infrastructure industry and help the industry develop rapidly and healthy. This time, two versions have been released globally, the China version is 30kW and the international version is 20kW.
As a new iteration of the previous generation charging module, the international version of the 20kW DC fast charging module has a maximum efficiency of 96.55%, and the China version of the 30kW has a maximum efficiency of 96.4%. It reduces losses through the application of efficient patent topology, efficient control algorithms and low-loss devices, smooth air duct design and precise fan speed regulation to reduce the extra loss caused by heat dissipation and achieve the optimal efficiency of the module.
The China version of the HUAWEI HiCharger DC fast charging module has the same size as the 30kW of the national grid 20kW and supports the same size expansion of the charging pile; 300-1000V full-section constant power output to meet the future evolution of high-voltage fast charging vehicles
Huawei has been involved in car charging modules as early as 2016. With the development of several years and the accumulation of technology, the power of a single module has been increased to 30kW, and the charging efficiency has doubled compared with the previous generation. IT House learned that not long ago, Huawei also released HiCar, which is Huawei’s smart car solution.
