Recently, Renault-Brilliance announced its first SUV Guan Jing pre-sale price range is 80,000-100,000 yuan (~US$11,920-14,900). According to previous news, the new car will provide 1.6litre natural aspirated and 1.5litre turbocharged enien for a total of five variants.
The front grille of Guan Jing adopts a large-sized polygonal design, decorated with a wide chrome-plated strip, connecting to the headlights on both sides.
Guan Jing adopts an orange and black contrast design for the interior, it is decorated with metal brushed plaques and chrome accents in multiple details. A large-size central control LCD screen is available with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel to make the new car look very young.
Guan Jing is a 7-seat SUV, size 4745/1820/1790mm, wheelbase of 2780mm, seat layout 2+2+3.
In terms of power, Guan Jing will be powered by 1.5litre turbo and 1.6litre engine. The 1.5 turbo engine has a maximum power of 110KW and a peak torque of 220 Nm. The 1.6litre engine has a maximum power of 87kW and a maximum torque of 154 Nm. It will be matched with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed AT. In terms of suspension, the car uses a front McPherson independent suspension and a rear torsion beam type non-independent suspension.
Guan Jing made its debut on 2018 Guangzhou Auto Show, it is the first SUV released after the establishment of Renault-Brilliance joint venture.
