On June 20, NIO signed a share subscription agreement with CYVN Holdings, an investment institution in Abu Dhabi. According to the agreement, CYVN Holdings will make a total strategic investment of approximately US$1.1 billion in NIO through private placement of new shares and transfer of old shares.

This investment transaction will further strengthen NIO’s balance sheet and accelerate business growth for us. Promote technological innovation, and build long-term competitiveness. At the same time, we look forward to cooperating with CYVN to expand NIO’s international business in the future.”
On June 1, NIO announced the delivery volume in May 2023, with a total of 6,155 new cars delivered. From January to May 2023, NIO delivered a total of 43,854 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 15.8%. A total of 333,410 NIO new cars have been delivered.
Not long ago, NIO officially announced the adjustment of the prices of all its new cars and the rights and interests of the first car owners. In terms of car prices, the starting price of all models is reduced by 30,000 yuan. The rights and interests of the first car owner of new car buyers have been adjusted to: 6-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty for the entire vehicle, of which the EIC system can enjoy a 10-year unlimited mileage warranty; 6-year free car networking; and free road assistance for life. After June 12, free battery replacement will no longer be used as a basic car right. Users can choose a single payment for battery replacement. NIO will launch flexible power-up and energy-replenishment packages in the future.
