Recently, Chery released price for its first high-end model EXEED TX/TXL model. The price range covers from 130,000-180,000 Yuan (~USD19,200 to 26,700). EXEED TX/TXL is powered by a 1.6litre turbocharged engine, it meet China VI (CN-6) emission standards. One of the models is also equipped with a four-wheel drive system.
The appearance adopts a more avant-garde design language and is very innovative. The front grille is marked with the “EXEED” logo on the upper edge, the chrome trim strips are attached to the front grille, which runs through the front headlights on both sides, greatly increasing the vehicle identification. The interior part, EXEED TX/TXL comes standard with LCD instrument, 10.25-inch high-definition multi-touch screen, and is equipped with ” i-Connect@Lion 2.0″, which is the world’s first car with deep integration of Baidu artificial intelligence car networking system.
EXEED TX/TXL comes standard with front double airbags, front side airbags, front seat belts without reminders, front row pre-tightening force belts, TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System with temperature display), ABS, EBD, TCS, ESC, BAS(Brake Assist System), DFD(Fatigue monitoring), HAC(Hill-start Assist Control), Auto-Hold, reversing image, speed limit, emergency braking warning system, vehicle speed Induction automatic lock and rear radar.
In terms of power, all three models are equipped with a 1.6litre turbocharged direct injection engine with maximum power of 145kW (197PS) and peak torque of 290N·m, matching the new 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. In addition, the TX Platinum version is equipped with a four-wheel drive system. The official claimed 100 km comprehensive fuel consumption is 6.8 liters / 7.4 liters (4 wheel).
