We got a set of spy photos for BYD’s new compact car recently. The new car is code-named HD, which uses BYD’s latest Dragon Face family design language. According to information obtained by relevant channels, the new car will be listed in the fourth quarter of 2019.
And its front headlights and the air intake grille are almost integrated, so from a distance, it looks like a light bar structure. It is reported that BYD HD is built on the latest BNA architecture, positioned in a compact car.
In terms of power, since BYD pays special attention to new energy vehicles, and the sales of fuel vehicles are declining in China market, the demand for new energy vehicles is soaring, we suspect that BYD HD will also have three models: fuel version, hybrid version and pure electric version. Refer to the 1.5T turbocharged engine of BYD SA2 (BYD Song Pro), which has a maximum power of 158 hp. It is expected that BYD HD will also be equipped with same engine.
