On November 29 local time, BYD held a media test drive event in Mexico, and debuted two new energy models, BYD TANG and BYD HAN, in the country. These two models are expected to be launched in Mexico in 2023, helping local green transportation transformation. In addition, BYD also announced that it has reached cooperation with eight Mexican dealers: Grupo Continental, Grupo Cleber, Grupo Dalton, Grupo Excelencia, Grupo Farrera, Grupo Fame, Liverpool and Grupo del Rincón, aiming to provide local consumers with high-quality new energy vehicle sales and after-sales service.
Zou Zhou, Country Manager of BYD Mexico Branch, said: “We are very pleased to see BYD take a new step in Mexico. Over the past nine years, we have made important progress in the local new energy taxi, truck and forklift market. It ushers in a new chapter in the entry of passenger vehicles into the Mexican market.”
For more than 20 years, BYD has made outstanding performance in the field of new energy vehicles, and has produced more than 3 million new energy vehicles for the global market. In the future, BYD will cooperate with well-known local dealer partners in Mexico to establish a localized sales and service system to create a better travel experience for local consumers.
