On May 19, 2020, BYD HAN EV / DM has officially started pre-sale. The new car has launched a total of 4 models this time, the pre-sale price range after subsidy is 233,000-280,000 yuan (~US$32,356 – $US39,390). According to previous news, the new car is expected to be listed in June 2020.
The two ultra-long-range models of BYD HAN EV (low and mid-trim) are equipped with a front motor with a maximum power of 163kW and a peak torque of 330N · m. The NEDC cruising range is 605km; the four-wheel-drive high-performance version (high trim) added a rear motor with a maximum power of 200kW and a peak torque of 350N · m, and its NEDC cruising range is 550km. Acceleration speed from 0-100km/h is only 3.9s.
BYD HAN DM currently has only one model, which is powered by a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 141kW (192Ps) and a motor with a maximum power of 180kW and a peak torque of 330N · m. Its pure electric range is not yet known.
